Ju at Gentle Paws Hawaiʻi was so kind and professional. She took great care of my 5 month old puppy, only suggesting services that she felt were necessary. It was my dog’s first grooming experience and he was very comfortable with her. At the end Ju gave me great advice about how to care for my dogs coat and nails. Our rescue pup just had her first grooming session with Ju today. We were initially worried since she has never been groomed before and has some anxiety issues…but we had nothing to worry about. Our pup loved Ju at first sight and was so comfortable with her! The end result was amazing! She made her look so good and our dog had the best experience! In fact she wanted to stay with Ju even after she saw us. All in all we definitely recommend Gentle Paws Hawaii for anyone who has a dog that needs a patient and kind person to work with them and who does great work.

Amazing experience at Gentle Paws Hawaii! Honestly I had a lot of anxiety prior to this nail trimming appointment. I knew my pup was uncomfortable with his paws being handled, and Ju walked me through all the possible scenarios over the phone before moving forward.

Honestly I think most groomers would have given up on my pup but Ju was a trooper and was able to push through and get it done. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a professional and caring groomer. She also gave me some great tips on how I may be able to manage his nails on my own in the future.
